2 concerts in the framework of  Happy Bachdag 2024, the 339-th birthday of  J.S.Bach

NB Bachs’  birthday is actually on March 21, however I’ll be abroad on that day…

3 p.m.- 4 p.m. : J.S.Bach – the complete Goldbergvariations,  including an introduction and with coffee/tea (and the inevitable Bach-cookies) afterwards

8 p.m. – 10 p.m.: Purcell – A Ground in Gamut (based on the same 8 bassnotes als the beginning of the Goldbergvariations), Händel – Chaconne in G HWV 435 (based on the same 8 bassnotes als the beginning of the Goldbergvariations) , J.S.Bach – French Suite nr.5 in G major BWV 816 (written in the same key as most of  the Goldbergvariations) and English Suite nr.3 in g minor BWV 808 (written in the same key as the three minor variations of  the Goldbergs) / after the intermission: the complete Goldbergvariations

coffee/tea and Bachcookies during the intermission and wine/softdrinks afterwards
