Yearly celebration of  Johann Sebastian Bachs’ birthday: Happy Bachdag 2025!

Theme of the concert: Bach as an inspired inspirator

We celebrate Bachs 340th birthday. This birthday is actually on March 21 but due to other obligations I will not be able to give this concvert on that particular day. Instead I’ll play the program on Sunday March 23.

This year  Bach will be showed as inspirator of composers of later generations and we’ll also highlight 4 composers who influenced Bach on their turn. Works by Dietrich Buxtehude, Alessandro Marcello, Johan Adam Reincken, J.P.Sweelinck, Ferruccio Busoni, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, W.A.Mozart, Francis Poulenc  and of course Johann Sebastian Bach.
