Visit to Czech pianist Alice Herz-Sommer (born in 1903 in Prague) in London on 26 May 2008. Alice Herz-Sommer gave more than 100 concerts at the Theresiƫnstadt concentration camp. She survived the camp and emigrated to Israel in 1949 and from there to London in 1983. She knew many artists such as Gustav Mahler and Franz Kafka and was good friends with the composer Viktor Ullmann. His seventh Piano Sonata was composed in Theresiƫnstadt and will be performed there by Marcel on 22 June 2008.
